I am a gamer. I don’t play Mario Brothers anymore, but I used to. My favorite was Super Mario Bros 3. The one with the Racoon.
I’ve played most of them throughout the years, but less and less as I grow older. I am not a fan of Mario Party or Mario Kart.
The last one I played was Mario Odyssey. It was just okay. Ever since the Nintendo 64, they made Mario a game you need to play over and over to get a bunch of stars or the like. I’m not a fan of that AT ALL. They’ve done it ever since. Then it went three-dimensional. It was just okay.
My son told me Mario Odyssey was like an RPG game, but I didn’t think so. It was just like playing a regular Mario 3D game… with a thousand things you have to collect.
So, anyway… I enjoyed the first movie. All those easter eggs were amazing.
I got tickets to see the second movie on the Friday it came out, but I changed my mind and cancelled them. My husband wasn’t excited to watch it. The review came back, and I was even more discouraged. Until today, when I went to see it.
It was meh. I mean, it did have a plot, but somehow, it was boring.
I don’t know why. My number one complaint is what they did to Bowser. Oh well, now we are supposed to wait for the third movie.
